West Ham United have received positive injury news for crocked pair Dimitri Payet and Enner Valencia.

The duo suffered ankle injuries in the Hammers' 1-1 draw against Everton before the international break.

But the verdicts were better than expected on Monday, says the Mirror.

Though he will still be out for three months, playmaker Payet has discovered he won't need an operation on his left ankle.

And Enner Valencia will be back sooner than feared, at the start of January.
