West Ham United have recalled Freddie Sears from his loan at Scunthorpe United.
Sears had been expected to stay at Glanford Park until January 3rd but Hammers manager Avram Grant has decided to terminate the 21-year-old's loan.
Sears, who burst onto the scene by scoring on his West Ham debut as an 18-year-old, failed to find the net during a two-month spell at Scunthorpe despite starting nine games.
The striker will be immediately added to the Hammers squad for games against Fulham, Everton and Wolves over the festive period.
