West Ham United are ready to upgrade Diafra Sakho's contract.
The Sunday Mirror says Sakho will have to play another 12 games before he picks up his new £10million deal at West Ham.
The 24-year-old marksman, who cost just £4.7million, has been linked with a lucrative reward already after his record-equalling six goals in his first six starts for the club .
But Sakho has a clause in his contract which states it is reviewed after 20 games if he produces the kind of goalscoring form that earned him the Player of the Year award at French club Metz last season. Sakho hit 20 goals in 36 appearances as Metz won promotion to Ligue 1.
