West Ham United are determined to do their transfer business early.
Yesterday the club confirmed that Norway midfielder Havard Nordtveit will join on a free transfer on July 1 and West Ham are now assessing several players in England.
“We are looking to make bids for many of our targets and we will wait to see how many of those have a positive response," said a club insider to the London Evening Standard.
Bournemouth are said to have rejected a joint bid of £25million for striker Callum Wilson and midfielder Matt Ritchie while West Ham have also been linked with a move for relegated Newcastle pair Georginio Wijnaldum and Andros Townsend.
