West Ham are pushing Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri to agree a move to London.

The Mirror says Seri has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs including Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal but West Ham have also seemed very keen and could provide a better platform for the player to showcase his abilities as he will be more likely to get playing.

New boss Manuel Pellegrini has already signed three players for the East London club and is keen to bring in more new faces.

Seri would be a great addition but the Hammers don't have a bottomless pit of cash and would benefit from snaring the Ivorian before the £35m release clause in his contract runs out in three weeks' time.
