Espanyol are leading the chase to sign West Ham midfielder Alou Diarra, reports talksport. The 31 year old has failed to make any impact at Upton Park following his £2m move from Marseille last summer and has only started one Premier League game.
Reports in France suggest that West Ham could be willing to let the French international leave the club and Espanyol have been showing a strong interest in wanting to sign him.
