West Ham United goalkeeper Robert Green admits the players have been unsettled by the arrival of new football chief Gianluca Nani.

"The only thing clear now is that you aren't going to go anywhere until January," said Green. "Then it all gets thrown up in the air again.

"It's become fairly apparent it's the board's decision on transfers, along with Gianluca Nani. They make decisions as they see fit and there has to be an element of trust with people who maybe haven't got such a hands-on role.

"It's just something different for us to get our heads around."
