West Ham United are determined to sign Luis Muriel.

The Sun reports that Muriel is unhappy at Sampdoria, despite the Colombian recently signing a new deal with the Serie A club.

Sampdoria are believed to have included a £24m release clause in Muriel's new contract.

And the Hammers are reportedly prepared to match the fee to bring Muriel old to London.

The 26-year old scored 11 goals in Serie A last season.
