West Ham United are ready to offer £3.5 million for Derby County winger Giles Barnes.
The Mirror says Rams boss Paul Jewell is ready to offload Barnes in the summer after Derby snubbed the Hammers' £5m bid a year earlier.
But Alan Curbishley must see off Newcastle, who offered £2.5m for Barnes last month.
