West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce is moving for Benfica striker Oscar Cardozo.

The Daily Star Sunday says previous targets Wilfried Bony and Loic Remy have slipped through his fingers, while he seems ready to sell Mali striker Modibo Maiga to St Etienne after just one season at the club.

Paraguayan Cardozo, 30, who has scored 105 times in 160 league appearances, is believed to be unhappy at Benfica.
