West Ham United are ready to bring in two strikers to boost their Premiership survival hopes.
Hammers boss Gianfranco Zola emerged from a two-hour meeting with West Ham's joint-chairmen David Sullivan and David Gold with assurances he would be armed with the firepower to avoid relegation.
Zola was promised two new strikers this month - one before the game against Portsmouth on Tuesday.
The two Davids also promised Zola there were no plans to sell Scott Parker or Matthew Upson, says the Daily Mail.
