West Ham have tabled a bid for Lincoln City defender Sean Raggett.

The Daily Mail says the Hammers have offered £120,000 for Raggett.

The Hammers want to give the 23-year-old, who is contracted at Sincil Bank until the summer of 2018, a chance in the Premier League.

The former England C international is seen by West Ham as a player who can still develop and will provide competition for first team places.

The six-figure bid comes after a £100,000 offer from West Brom was said to be made for the defender, who was recently named Young Player of the Year at the National Game Awards for the National League.
