West Ham to offer Ba pathway out of Chelsea

Reports suggest that West Ham United want to bring Chelsea's Demba Ba back to East London.

The Senegalese striker had a successful stint with the Hammers in 2011, scoring seven goals in 13 appearances, before he joined Newcastle United for free that summer.

He then moved onto Chelsea in January 2013 but has been in and out of the starting line-up and is likely to fall behind Fernando Torres and Romelu Lukaku in Jose Mourinho's pecking order.

West Ham will look to offer him a pathway out of Stamford Bridge but must trim their wage bill before doing so.
