West Ham United No2 Neil McDonald says Modibo Maiga can make it at the club.

Maiga staked his claim with two goals in Germany against Braunschweig yesterday.

Hammers assistant McDonald said: "If the penny drops on where we want him to run and play the ball to, Maiga has one hell of a chance of starting the season."
