West Ham, Newcastle weigh up loan move for Liverpool striker Ings

Four Premier League clubs are weighing up a January loan move for Liverpool striker Danny Ings.

According to The Guardian, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Newcastle and Stoke City are courting the 25-year-old striker.

The former Burnley man's career has derailed over the last two years, with knee injuries meaning he hasn't played a Premier League game since October 2015.

The 25-year-old has impressed in his return to action for Liverpool's U23 side, having scored four goals against Bristol City and two against Stoke earlier this week.

The Potters are keen to find an out and out scorer after the failings of Saido Berahino, while West Ham manager David Moyes has been trying to sign Ings since he was manager of Real Sociedad.

Newcastle and Crystal Palace both failed in their aim to sign strikers in the summer and still remain light in their attacking depth.
