Kevin Malcuit admits he had offers from England before signing for Lille last week.

The former St Etienne wing-back was being linked with West Ham, Manchester United and Newcastle United last season.

But he signed for LOSC and explained: "Just before I went on vacation, I made the decision to come here. This project is very interesting. I had a full season, I had offers from England but the talks with Marc Ingla and Luis Campos made the difference.

"What made the difference? The project, the coach, one of the best in the world. As a player it always makes you dream. And then, it's a new team, we get to know each other, I want to settle quickly. We will try to have the best season.

"My ambition with LOSC at the end of the season? Europe."
