West Ham United are weighing up a late move for Schalke defender Matija Nastasic.

The Mail on Sunday says City centre back Nastasic is Schalke bound, but West Ham may yet move in for the Serbian defender if Winston Reid refuses new terms.

Reid is out of contract in the summer and eyeing a move to Arsenal or Liverpool.

Hammers boss Sam Allardyce refused to rule out Reid agreeing to stay on Friday.
