West Ham move to trump Crystal Palace for Preston striker Jordan Hugill

West Ham have moved to trump Crystal Palace for Preston striker Jordan Hugill.

The Daily Mail says Palace are facing late competition from West Ham for Preston forward Hugill.

Palace have been desperate to wrap up Hugill's capture but the Hammers have made a late effort to hijack the move.

Palace and Preston had agreed an £8m fee for the striker.
