Tal Ben Haim's move to West Ham United has stalled.
The Sun says the Hammers are insisting on a second opinion before a four-year deal can go through after the Israeli defender failed a medical.
Ben Haim, 28, missed a large chunk of last season with Portsmouth through injury and was only on the bench for the FA Cup final defeat by Chelsea.
He was hoping for a reunion with his former boss Avram Grant at Upton Park and an immediate return to the Premier League following relegation last season.
Ben Haim even agreed to take a £7,500 a week pay cut to get his chance but now that all looks in serious doubt
