West Ham move to re-sign Man Utd veteran Ferdinand

West Ham United are keen to bring Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand back to the Boleyn Ground. The Sunday Express says Hammers boss Sam Allardyce wants to snap up Ferdinand on a free transfer in the summer.

The former England man could be a free agent at the end of the season.

The Hammers would love to have him back in London, but new QPR boss Harry Redknapp wants Ferdinand, 34, too.
