Thomas Hitzlsperger's move to West Ham United is already paying off.
The former Lazio and Stuttgart midfielder has been named in Germany's squad for the international friendly with Denmark in Copenhagen next month.
The match will give Hitzlsperger the opportunity to re-establish himself in the Germany set-up after he was unexpectedly left out of Joachim Low's squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
