West Ham United have joined the race for off contract Arsenal defender Sol Campbell.
The News of the World says new Upton Park boss Avram Grant sees the powerful 35-year-old as the defensive lynchpin to build his side around.
Campbell has so far spoken to Celtic and Sunderland about lucrative deals after leaving Arsenal for the second time at the end of last season.
