West Ham, Millwall to be charged tomorrow

West Ham United will be charged for the ugly scenes in their Carling Cup win over Millwall.

The News of the World says the Hammers and Millwall will be charged by the FA on Monday following ugly scenes in the explosive Carling Cup tie last month.

Hammers face a hefty fine and the prospect of having to play a game behind closed doors for "failing to control their fans" who invaded the pitch four times during their 3-1 second round win at Upton Park.

League One Millwall will also be charged after some of their supporters chanted racist abuse at England striker Carlton Cole.
