The Republic of Ireland are interested in West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble.

Noble has been linked with a call-up to the Ireland squad.

But the 26-year-old Canning Town-born player said: "My nan and grandad are Irish but I'm English and I've always thought I had a chance of playing for my country. I still believe that."
