West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble is determined to shake-off his spotkick miss in defeat to Tottenham.
It was the first spot-kick he has failed to convert in 10 attempts.
"I knew there would be a day when I would miss one," he said. "But that's life and it's not the end of the world.
"I was going to go high and whip it in the corner but I saw [Hugo] Lloris move and I just thought I would go safe. Obviously it went wrong from there. But I will definitely take the next one - one hundred per cent.
"It is a harsh lesson learned and I hope the lads and the fans don't get too down because it was a positive performance."
