West Ham United midfielder Stewart Downing wants to stay in football after retirement.

While Downing hopes to continue playing for a good few years, coaching is certainly an ambition.

"I'm going to start my badges soon," he told the Daily Mail. "It feels like a natural progression. I don't have a plan B. I'd want to stay in the game."
