West Ham United midfielder Diego Poyet has committed his international future to Uruguay.
The 19-year-old has been given permission by parent club West Ham to represent his country's Under-20s team in two friendlies against Uzbekistan and Portugal at the end of March.
Poyet, the son of Sunderland boss Gus Poyet, has played for England at youth level.
He will be eligible for the Under-20s World Cup in New Zealand later this year.
