West Ham United midfielder Momo Diame hopes former club Wigan Athletic can stay up.
The Latics are West Ham's next opponents.
"They are in a very difficult situation now and I hope for them that they are going to stay up. I have a lot friends there and there are a lot of good people there, so I hope they can stay up," Diame told whufc.com.
