West Ham United have made an offer for Blackburn Rovers striker Benni McCarthy.
The Daily Mail says the new regime have already made a £1million bid, plus an extra £250,000 if they stay up, for Blackburn's McCarthy.
The offer is short of Blackburn's £2.5million valuation of the 32-year-old, who is keen to leave Ewood Park this month and is interesting Galatasaray.
However, he wants to stay in the Premier League ahead of the World Cup finals in his native South Africa.
