Gabon international Eric Mouloungui is staying with French outfit Nice having decided against a move to Championship West Ham. The 27-year-old, who is out of contract next summer, was due to undergo a medical this week.
Mouloungui considered leaving the club before telling chairman Maurice Cohen that he was happy and wanted to stay.
"Indeed, I thought about a departure, but finally I told the chairman I want to stay," he told Nice Matin.
"I feel fine here. There is really a great relationship between the team-mates and the staff. I can feel trust toward me."
