West Ham United could acquire the services of Tottenham winger David Bentley.
Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is hoping to finalise a loan deal for the 27-year old who is not in Harry Redknapp's plans at White Hart Lane.
Redknapp has already stated that he is ready to let Bentley leave and with Scott Parker departing Upton Park for North London, Allardyce is looking to replace some quality in his midfield.
Bentley spent the second part of last season on loan with Birmingham City and again could be farmed out as Spurs go about strengthening their squad after two heavy losses.
