West Ham United are planning a shock swoop for Hull City striker Nikica Jelavic.
The Hammers have been in the market for a new striker all summer long and their need to bring in a front man has been further accelerated due to the injuries suffered by Enner Valencia and Andy Carroll.
A host of names have been linked with West Ham over the past few weeks and it has now been claimed by the Hull Daily Mail that the East London club are eyeing Hull' Croatian international Jelavic.
Jelavic is widely tipped to leave the KC Stadium this summer following Hull's relegation and the striker would probably welcome a move back to the Premier League where he can reunite with former national team manager Slaven Bilic.
