West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce hopes to convince Chelsea striker Demba Ba about a return to Upton Park.
The Daily Express says Allardyce made a fresh move to reinforce his depleted squad last night with a £6million bid for Chelsea striker Ba.
The 28-year-old has since found himself marginalised at Chelsea by Jose Mourinho, making two Premier League starts and scoring once.
