West Ham have declined to confirm or deny that Carl Jenkinson has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Co-owner David Sullivan's son Jack tweeted that Jenkinson's "injury is far more serious than we thought and he is out for the rest of the season."

If the 23-year-old's injury is as serious as feared, it will take the Arsenal defender to the end of his loan spell at Upton Park.
