Midfielder Anthony Edgar has returned to West Ham from Bournemouth after the Football League refused an extension to his loan deal. Despite the club being under a transfer embargo, the 19 year olds emergency one-month loan was sanctioned by the Football League in September as the Cherries were in danger of being unable to field a side.
"Anthony has gone back and the Football League have not allowed us to extend the loan at this moment in time," boss Eddie Howe told the Echo.
"We're disappointed to lose him because it leaves us very short of options on the left-hand side of midfield."
