West Ham United are being linked with Newcastle United striker Demba Ba.

Ba is available for &poudn;7 million this month courtesy of a clause in his contract.

The Evening Chronicle says there has been plenty of talk of Ba quitting United in the past few weeks, with a string of representatives advising him on his next move and West Ham the latest side to throw their hat into the ring.
