West Ham United legend Paolo di Canio is set to take the job at Swindon Town.
Di Canio is on the brink of a remarkable return to English football as manager of League Two Swindon Town.
The flamboyant 42-year-old Italian is understood to have verbally agreed to take over the newly relegated club and an announcement is expected at midday today.
Di Canio impressed interim chairman Jeremy Wray during talks last week and yesterday said: "I believe my future will be in England.
"In the next few days something will happen, perhaps in an inferior division."
