West Ham United legend Paolo di Canio has launched an amazing attack on AS Roma captain Francesco Totti. Former Lazio skipper Di Canio has branded Totti "selfish" and believes he upset his Roma teammates over his strop at being substituted for Saturday's win over Inter Milan.
Di Canio declared: "He knows he is protected. In Rome, everyone knows he has been training for two years only two or three days a week with Vito Scala.
"You should never ignore your own teammates, but rejoice with them. Francesco WAS a great player, but now he is different.
"When he was taken off, Roma seemed to be back to a team where everyone helps.
"Mirko Vucinic's anger after the goal was also against Totti."
