West Ham United legend Tony Cottee hopes they can keep Andy Carroll.

West Ham are attempting to sign permanently the Liverpool striker.

Cottee told West Ham TV: "There's a good bunch of players in the squad, I'm sure they'll be given a bit of money and perhaps most importantly of all if we can sign Andy Carroll we've got a real chance of giving it a big go next season."
