West Ham United legend Tony Cottee says fans can have no complaints about Andy Carroll.

The on-loan Liverpool striker is struggling to find the back of the net for the Hammers.

But in his column in the Dockland's and East London Advertiser, Cottee writes: "Another week has passed with Andy Carroll not scoring, but I'm not at all concerned. 'Is he pulling his weight outside the box? Is he holding the ball up?

"Is he bringing others into play? Is he creating chances and getting into the right positions? I think the answer is yes on all fronts."
