West Ham United legend Sir Trevor Brooking has hailed the impact of Momo Diame.

Diame was outstanding in victory over Chelsea on Saturday.

"The lad has been a revelation for us," Brooking told talkSPORT.

"I think Sam thought he was a bit tired because he's had some hard games recently, so he only came on in the second half, but Diame has been fantastic.

"He's been the player of the season really."
