West Ham United are favourites for Lyon fullback Francois Clerc.
TMW says while Serie A clubs have expressed interest in the France international, he will certainly end up in England for the start of the new season.
Clerc is represented by Frederic Guerra and West Ham, Aston Villa and Birmingham following him.
Avram Grant's West Ham are regarded as favourites.
