West Ham goalkeeper Robert Green admits he's in the dark over his England prospects.
"I don't know if I am in the manager's plans - I haven't spoken to him," revealed Green, 27.
"But trying to bring logic into it sometimes is not the greatest thing to do. Sometimes you are just better off to accept it.
"I could sit at home and wonder why I haven't been picked and not come up with any answers, so there's not much point in thinking about it.
"The only thing I can control is playing here and if I focus on that then I can do well. I feel like I've been playing well."
Green won his only England cap as a sub against Colombia in 2005 when he was still at Norwich, but he reckons he displayed his best form helping West Ham beat the drop last season.
But he rated his chances of a recall as "slim", adding: "You're looking at it and thinking maybe fifth, maybe sixth in line. The chances are slim."
