West Ham keeper Green: I want to face Sheffield Utd

West Ham United goalkeeper Robert Green says their Great Escape, not the Carlos Tevez battle with Sheffield United, will be what is remembered from two years ago.

"That is what I'll remember, the staying up, and that is what the West Ham fans will do too," Green said.

Blades players could argue that they missed out on Barclays Premier League wages and bonuses as a result of relegation, and Green added: "They can do what they like, to be honest.

"There is only so much before you lose interest.

"It has been going on for two years but it is one of those things and if it rumbles on, it rumbles on."

The two clubs could also meet each other next season if Blades are promoted from the Coca-Cola Championship, with any clash having extra spice after the Tevez saga.

"Hopefully (they will be promoted)," Green said.
