West Ham United goalkeeper Robert Green admits recent months have been the best of his career.

"It's been a fantastic few months for myself and I am really enjoying it," he told whufc.com. "You know, you work hard and hope to get those rewards, with West Ham and now, England, it has been the icing on the cake."

When asked about his chances of appearing at the FIFA World Cup, Green was in cautious mood despite his outstanding form. "We'll have to wait and see, I just want to keep going and keep playing and help to take West Ham as far as we can."
