West Ham keeper Adrian proud to dominate awards night

West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian admits his first season in England could not have gone better.

Adrian, who joined the capital club from Real Betis in the summer, was honoured with awards for signing, performance and save of the season at the club's annual celebration and revealed he has enjoyed his first year in England.

"It was an unbelievable evening for me to be given a hat-trick of awards, I must thank the fans so much," he told The Sun.

"My first season here in England has been positive because I've found a good group of team-mates, who have helped me adapt to a new club, culture and a new style of playing.

"Personally, I'm so happy to get the confidence of the manager and West Ham fans. The best moment for me was that match against Chelsea away - because it was very busy in the goal and I kept a clean sheet.

"It was a perfect point earned for us that night. We will try to do this again at City."
