West Ham keeper Adrian hints Hammers prefer way fixtures

West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian has hinted that at the moment, the Hammers would prefer to play all their games away from home.

The East Londoners have beaten the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City on their travels but have managed only one win in their four league games at Upton Park.

"For us, I think it is much better to play away from home but you have your fans here and of course if you play well, the fans are with you," he said.

"But if not, everyone is a little bit nervous. We need a result or to score first to have our fans with us.

"Probably the team play without pressure when you play a big team - everyone thinks you are going to lose. But it is not an excuse. We need to improve our performances here because in this league you need to play at home and away from home."

The Hammers, who sit third on the Premier League table, drew 2-2 against Norwich City at home on Saturday.
