Roma goalkeeper Alexandre Doni is in the sights of West Ham United.
West Ham midfielder Valon Behrami is a target for Roma, which has sparked talk of a swap involving Brazilian Doni.
West Ham are prepared to listen to bids for the Switzerland international, which has also alerted Palermo, and a £8.5million fee has been mooted.
However, Roma are reluctant to even match the £5m that the Hammers paid Genoa for Behrami five years ago and the Serie A side would rather take him on an initial loan.
A compromise could be to offer Brazil goalkeeper Doni in part-exchange. The 30-year-old has fallen out of favour at the Olympic Stadium and has previously been offered to Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham.
