West Ham United are believed to be on the trail of Fulham defensive midfielder Dickson Etuhu.

The Nigeria international has one year left on his Craven Cottage contract and is keen for a long-term deal but Hammers boss Avram Grant is monitoring talks between club and player.

Etuhu is currently in South Africa for the World Cup so it is likely that Grant will have to wait until he comes forward with any potential offer for the 28-year old.
