West Ham United is the latest club to join the race for Napoli midfielder Gokhan Inler.

According to the Daily Mail, the Hammers are said to be looking at alternatives as they have yet to reach an agreement with Barcelona over a new deal for Alex Song.

Leicester City reportedly agreed a fee of £3.1million for the 31-year-old last weekend, but the player was not keen on a move, forcing it to fall through.

Other clubs interested in Switzerland international Inler include Schalke, Besiktas, Fiorentina, Werder Bremen and Hamburg.
